Trooper Receives Minor Injuries After Crash

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper is recovering from minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle while investigating a crash. The UHP says the trooper was sitting in his patrol vehicle on the right shoulder of State Route 92 near mile marker 26 yesterday when he was hit. The SUV that hit him was traveling too fast for road conditions and could not stop in time. The driver of the SUV also suffered minor injuries.
