Teenager Charged In Roosevelt Robbery

A teenage boy faces charges in connection with an armed robbery that happened in Roosevelt in early February. It happened at a local convenience store, where police say the 17-year-old suspect pointed a gun at the clerk, demanded cash, and fired one shot before leaving the store. Nobody was hurt during the robbery. The teen was arrested later that same month, and was charged earlier this month. He currently remains in custody, and his identity hasn't been released.

Police Investigating Racist Incident Involving University Of Utah Women's Basketball Team

Police in Idaho are talking with victims of a racist incident that happened last week. Members of women's basketball teams from Utah and Irvine, California were in town for the NCAA tournament in Spokane. They were walking to dinner when pickups flying the Confederate flag drove by and people in the vehicles shouted racist slurs. Police weren't able to interview the players until now. No other details of the investigation are being released.

Man Sentenced In 2014 Triple Murder

A Salt Lake City area man has been sentenced to 56 years to life in prison for his involvement in a 2014 triple murder. Richard Christopher was found guilty on eight felony charges related to the disappearance and deaths of Danny Gallegos, Braden Emerson, and Levi Collins. The three men left to meet with Christopher but never returned, and their bloodstained vehicle was later found abandoned. Investigators say Christopher shot them and burned their bodies, and he was sentenced on Wednesday.
