The festival runs today and tomorrow and it's bigger than ever this year! 25+ Hot Air Balloons, over 100 vendors, Food Trucks, Community Entertainment, and a Car Show!

11:00am-2:00pm - Classic Car Show - free to enter- bring your car to the park at 10:30am - Cash prize for "Festival Favorite"
11am-9pm: Vendor Market and Food Trucks
11am– 5pm: Community Entertainment on Main Stage

American Idol Winner REVEALED As Final Artist At Washington County Fair!
A little bit ago, it was announced by the Washington County Fair that for 2024's fair, we will be having THREE concerts! Wednesday April 17th will be 90's Country Night with Tracy Byrd and Little Texas! Friday April 19th will be more of a contemporary country with Eli Young Band! However, Thursday night's concert wasn't announced... UNTIL NOW!
THURSDAY, APRIL 18th's CONCERT IS...
IAM TONGI!
Iam is American Idol's NEWEST Winner of the singing competition! In May of 2023 it was announced that Iam Tongi was the champion of American Idol Season 21! For his audition, Iam brought the judges to tears with his rendition of "Monsters" by James Blunt, as he was fighting back tears after losing his dad a few months prior. He dedicated his performance to his dad. Iam was the clear front runner all season on American Idol, and it came to little surprise when he was crowned the champion. This is incredibly cool to have him in town in April. Iam has MILLIONS of views on YouTube, and if you've never heard his music before, watch some videos below on him!

FINALLY! The Washington County Fair Concerts REVEALED!
A couple years ago, The Washington County Fair made a HUGE change in running the fair in April instead of Early August. The 70 degrees is TONS better than the 100+ degrees we were facing in August. But that's not the only change that the fair has made. The Washington County Fair has also brought in some BIG name for concerts! Two years ago, we had Walker Hayes. Walker was at the height of his stardom with his hit "Fancy Like" reaching the top of the charts. Last year we had Chris Janson whose had multiple #1 hits. But this year we'll see EVEN MORE change... For the better!
WE'RE GETTING THREE CONCERTS!
These concerts will reach a more broad audience. An older audience, a younger audience, and an audience in the middle!
WHO'S COMING TO TOWN?!
TRACY BYRD & LITTLE TEXAS:
On Wednesday night, April 16th, Tracy Byrd and Little Texas will hit the stage! You know Tracy Byrd for his hits "Watermelon Crawl" and "Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo". Little Texas is know for their hits "God Blessed Texas" and "My Love". Tracy Byrd and Little Texas reached their height in the 90s! Anyone who loves classic country, will be excited about Tracy Byrd and Little Texas coming to the Washington County Fair.
ELI YOUNG BAND:
On Friday Night, April 18th, Eli Young Band will have their time on the stage at the fair! This is SO EXCITING, as I'm a HUGE fan of Eli Young Band! Their songs "Saltwater Gospel" (My favorite), "Love Ain't", "Drunk Last Night", "Crazy Girl", and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart". This show will be SO GOOD!

YES! A MUCH NEEDED I-15 Exit Could Be Coming!
A new I-15 interchange may soon be coming to St. George! An "Interchange" would be a new freeway exit and freeway entrance. The new entrance and exit would be coming to 700 South. The project has been postponed, however due to the widening of I-15 from St. George Boulevard to Bluff Street.
This new interchange would bring an exit less than a mile to Utah Tech University and St. George Regional Hospital. The new exit would be Exit 7 on Interstate 15. This would give St. George/Washington 9 overall I-15 exits.
The Northbound offramp/exit would be here (pictured below) next to that big pink Doctor's office building on the south side of 700 South.
The Northbound onramp/entrance would be here (pictured below) next to the big Tuacahn Billboard on the north side of 700 South.
The Southbound offramp/exit would be here (pictured below) in front of the Dudley Leavitt Apartments, next to the gas station on the corner of 700 South and 800 East.
The Southbound onramp/entrance would be here (pictured below) east of the Heritage Home & Garden building on the south side of 700 South.
But that's not all... This would also call for 700 South to be WIDENED, new lanes, sidewalks, and trails!
However, with most construction in the area, not EVERYONE is happy. Would you be happy with a new I-15 Interchange? Or would you prefer it to not happen?
