Aquatic Center To Close Next Week To Prepare For Summer
Some years ago, I was able to attend and participate in what was the time the Polar Plunge at our Cedar City Aquatic Center. I'm not sure I've ever been in colder water. As I was diving in, I had the thought, “I wish they were closed today.” My wish wasn't fulfilled on that frigid February morning, but all facilities do require upkeep and maintenance, and starting on Monday, May 22nd the Cedar City Aquatic Center will be closed for their summer maintenance and preparation period. The center will be closed through Saturday, May 27th.
The aquatic center will re-open for Monday, May 29th on Memorial Day. It will be open for holiday hours on that day. After that, it will be full time summer operation schedule. The outdoor pool will also be open that day, along with Lake On The Hill.
