Sports radio (and sports writing) has been a passion of Andy Griffin since the 1980s and talk radio has quickly climbed the list of priorities for him as well. Andy has broadcast roughly 7,000 games over the last 30 years or so, figuring our a way to get paid for watching sports. In recent years, he dived headfirst into local news and politics and found a true home on talk radio. Fortunately, Andy is married to the best woman alive for more than 33 years and wouldn't trade a single minute of it.

US States With The Worst Drivers — Where Does Utah Rank?
I've lived in 10 different state in the USA during my lifetime and one common link among them all is that the residents of the different locales think they have the worst drivers in America.
It's easy to believe, especially if you just got home after some numbskull just cut you off in traffic and another thickheaded driver had his left blinker on and then turned right in front of you...
Warmer Weather Means World’s Deadliest Creature Is Back In Utah
Quick -- no Google or Alexa -- what is the deadliest creature on Planet Earth?
Lion? No. Shark? Not even close. Wolf? Nope. Piranha? Rattlesnake? Tiger? Killer whale? Nope, nope, nope and nope.
Those are the most common guesses and they are creatures we're supposed to be afraid of, according to Hollywood...
Confidently Merging Onto Freeways: Experts Give Tips For Utah Drivers
I've seen a couple of angst-ridden posts online lately, people stress-writing about a recent experience in getting on the freeway.
I feel your pain.
I remember as a new driver a few years ago (OK, more than a few) the biggest stress I had was the thought of having to merge with full-speed drivers when trying to merge onto the fast-moving Interstate.

Rising Concern: Fatal Wrong-Way Crashes Grip Utah Commuters
Last year, we had a double-fatality in Southern Utah stemming from a wrong-way driver. Last month a woman was killed when a Utah Highway Patrol officer had to forcibly crash into the woman's vehicle to stop her wrong-way travel.
Last week, four people narrowly escaped serious injury when they had a major collision near the port of entry in Southern Utah after entering the freeway going the wrong d

People go missing all the time, whether they remove themselves from society, relocate to escape a bad situation, or (sadly) choose to take their own lives.
But in almost all cases, some evidence of what happened to the person eventually emerges...
Unveiling Reagan’s Impact: A Reflection At The Presidential Library
I've always liked President Ronald Reagan.
I wouldn't have fit in the category of fanatic, or devoted follower. To me he was the President of my youth. I was 14 when he got elected and 18 when he got re-elected and I'm happy to say that I voted for him in 1984...
Window Safety Alert: How To Keep Kids Safe From Falls

A quick follow-up on the devastating story from Taylorsville:
In November, 63-year-old Sandra Dee Miller was in her own backyard in Taylorsville when she was attacked by two adult and five puppy Pitbulls.
When police arrived, they had to use pepper spray to get the dogs away from the woman...
Speeding Through Southern Utah? It’s Easier Than You Think
I've had my share of speeding tickets through the years, although none lately. At one point, I'd been pulled over on every major holiday.
That's a fact I'm kind of proud of, and also kind of ashamed of. But I'm older now and haven't gotten a speeding ticket in a decade or more (knock on wood)...
