If you attend everything planned for this weekend in and around Cedar City, you may need put in a request for some time off next week just to recover. A look at the calendar at visitcedarcity.com shows so many options it would hard to check them all off.
The 43rd Annual Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Restoration Gathering Contest Pow-Wow will take place in Cedar City Friday and Saturday at the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Outdoor Arbor. The event is free and everyone from the community is welcome.
The Old Rock Church Days are Friday and Saturday in Parowan. Experience the Mother Town Magic with food, vendors, tours, entertainment, children’s games, a quilt show, a silent auction, and more.
The Cedar Street Fest continues as it is held on Fridays at the Cedar Fun Center. They've brought together local businesses, artisans, and performers for a weekly celebration of Cedar City’s unique culture.
The Crossroads Music Festival will be held on Friday and Satrurday evening at the Southern Utah University Library Quad. These concerts are FREE and family-friendly. Bring your blanket, sit on the lawn, and enjoy two great nights of music!
The Monster Truck Family Tour will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Cross Hollows Event Center. Gates open at 5PM, the Pit Party runs from 5:30 to 6:30PM and the show starts at 7PM. Come for a night of monster trucks and more including the best trick, Quadwars, racing, SXS racing, freestyle, and more.
On Saturday it's the Boots and Bikinis Country Music Festival held at the Three Peaks Oasis out on Lund Highway. The festival will have loads of wild activities, from mud wrestling to a 200 ft water slide into our man made swimming hole. Country music, activities, camping and lots of vendors/beer trucks will be on site. Savannah Keys and Tyler Rich will take to the main stage Saturday night at 7:30. Camping will be available on Friday for anyone who wants to get there early.
