Cedar City Spring Cleaning Will Be Here Sooner Than You Think

The Cedar City Street Division is gearing up for its Spring Clean-Up initiative in April 2024, aiming to enhance the city's cleanliness and address debris concerns. Residents are encouraged to be aware of the specific collection dates for their respective areas:

• Area 1: North of Center Street and North of Airport – April 08 – 11, 2024
• Area 2: West of I-15, south of 1600 North – April 15 – 18, 2024
• Area 3: South of Center Street and east of I-15 – April 22 – 25, 2024

Collections will commence on Mondays, excluding Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It is vital for residents to have their debris ready at the curb by 7:00 AM on the scheduled Monday, and not before one week in advance. Each residence is limited to one 10-wheeler dump truck load.

Debris, including brush, branches, clippings, leaves, grass, untreated wood, asphalt, dirt, rocks, concrete, clean cardboard, and plastic pipe, should be placed in front of the curb on the street. However, furniture, metal items, appliances, carpet, electronics, and tires will not be collected. Residents are responsible for removing any unacceptable items from the street.

This service caters exclusively to Cedar City residents, excluding those in Planned Unit Developments (PUD), and is not intended for commercial or industrial properties. To facilitate the clean-up process, residents are requested to keep their vehicles off the street during their scheduled week and the subsequent week.
