Get ready to showcase your talents—Cedar City’s Star Search competition is back! Auditions for the annual event will run from Monday, February 1, through Friday, February 21, 2025. Performers of all ages can compete for a $250 prize in their respective categories, with solo and group divisions available.

This year’s main event is scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2025, at the Heritage Theater, and promises to be a highlight of the local arts calendar. Local celebrity judges, yet to be announced, will help shine the spotlight on Cedar City’s finest performers. From singers and magicians to acrobats and other creative acts, participants are encouraged to surprise and delight the audience.

“I’m always blown away by the level of talent in Cedar City, and I can’t wait to see all of the incredible entries this year,” said Cedar City Events Director and host Brandon Burk in a press release. “This competition is for all ages and disciplines. We really hope people will surprise us with something new this year as well!”

Open to the greater Iron County community, the competition offers more than just a stage for performers. For the second consecutive year, Star Search will raise funds for Canyon Creek Services. This vital non-profit organization provides free, confidential advocacy and support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Beaver, Iron, and Garfield counties.
