Iron County Children’s Justice Center Fundraiser: Dancing With The Community Stars Tonight!
Tonight, Tuesday November 19th, the 10th Anniversary Red Carpet Gala—Dancing with the Community Stars—takes center stage in Cedar City. This entertaining fundraiser begins at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Center Theater, located at 105 N 100 E, Cedar City. Tickets are $15 each and can still be purchased at State Bank, ERA Realty Center, from a Community Star, or online. For more information, contact Jennifer Davis at (435) 590-1317.
This special evening brings together community members, including Amanda Gibbs, Justin Jones, Mary Pearson, Spencer Douglas, and more, who will pair with experienced dancers to compete for the audience's support and applause. Judges for the event include Heather Roundy, Dallas Buckner, Chad Dotson, and Chandler Hall. Guests are invited to cheer on their favorite “Community Star” while enjoying a glamorous evening of fun and connection.
While the evening promises entertainment, its purpose is deeply meaningful. All proceeds benefit the Iron County Children’s Justice Center (CJC), an essential resource for children and families navigating the aftermath of alleged physical or sexual abuse. The CJC provides a child-friendly environment where young victims can feel safe during the investigative process. Forensic interviews conducted at the center are preserved to reduce the need for repeated questioning, while families are offered vital resources, including mental health referrals, medical exams, and victim advocacy.
The CJC’s operational funding comes from the Utah State Legislature and the Victims of Crime Act, but community fundraisers like this gala are crucial for additional support. By attending, participants contribute directly to this critical service while enjoying a memorable evening filled with music, dancing, and celebration.
Support the cause, join the fun, and make a difference at this year’s Dancing with the Community Stars. Together, the community can help protect and support children who need it most.
