Utah and USU Fans, Spring Scrimmages are the Best!

I have a buddy who sells cars.

He flips 'em like pancakes.

I don't know how he does it.

We were once at a basketball game at Weber State and he sold a car at halftime while we were just sitting there in the stadium. It happened to be the car we drove to the game with from Logan. We had no car to get home when the game was over.

What makes him so good is his ad writing.

"You're gonna love this shaggin' wagon"

"How bout a nice two wheel truck, grocery getter for the Mrs.?"

"This Caddy rides like a dream!"

Every car he sells I want to buy!

It's like reading stories about Spring football scrimmages. Utah and Utah State had their spring scrimmages over the weekend.

Utah's transfer Corner Back from Ole Miss Miles Battle was "flying around out there!" (he did have a pick 6...) 

Backup quarterback Brandon Rose was "slingin' it around the yard!"

Utah State's receiving corps "might be the best we have had since I've been here" said quarterback Cooper Legas.

I wanna buy it.

But we know that it's all just ad copy. Right?

We know that this happens every Spring. Everyone is very optimistic. The flowers are blooming. The season is five months away so your team won't be getting its butt-kicked for a while...

Spring practice and scrimmage reports are ad copy, not the CarFax report. That doesn't get printed out until September.
