There are those who say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And they say that because back in the 80's parents used to deprive their kids of Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms because they were too sugary and when their kids complained the parents would say breakfast is "the most important meal of the day! Have some Frosted Mini-Wheats."

For those who weren't traumatized by being kept from Lucky Charms as children, breakfast is probably their favorite meal of the day.

Let's take a look at Utah's "best" breakfast places.

According to the Deseret News here are a couple of top spots.

Sweet Lake Biscuits and Limeade (The Deseret News)

"Located in Utah County and Salt Lake County, this restaurant has fantastic biscuits. The famous dish here is the Hoss, but I usually go for the Garden Benedict, which is excellent. The hash on the side is interesting — it involves quinoa — I recommend trying it either as a side or in the Garden Hash. This place is great because of all the options. If you’re looking for a place with a concentrated menu that still has variety, I recommend here."

I like the look of those biscuits.

Nah...can't do this.

Bear Paw Cafe in St. George

Bear Paw is always busy which is a good sign. I've only been a couple of times. I don't want to say that it didn't knock my socks off so instead I'll just blink in a coded sequence and you'll have to interpret my real opinion about it.
