Last week, the family and I took a quick weekend trip to California. We visited some of our favorite spots—the beach and the USS Midway Museum, an aircraft carrier turned museum. We spent a little more than we planned, but as you do when on the road, we had to eat and wanted to have a nice sit-down meal.

After polling the group, we decided to go to Denny’s, and you know what? We had a great time! The food was delicious, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the staff was fantastic. It reminded me that I actually really like Denny’s—I mean, I’m a fan.
