The first police Tesla Cybertrucks in the country will be in our very own area, Las Vegas, Nevada. No other police force to this point has added a fleet of these future mobiles to their force, so how did Las Vegas pull it off? Thanks to an anonymous donor.

It feels like another installation of the RoboCop movies. Picture this: a crime scene is being set up with police tape and barricade cones and in rolls a Cybertruck ready to take action, accented by custom sound and light effects that the Cybertruck is famous for.

Crafted from ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel, these trucks are designed to withstand rough handling. The expansive, tablet-like touchscreen controls almost every function of the vehicle, so officers can easily access navigation, communication, and vehicle diagnostics. Goodbye fumbling with multiple gadgets.

Let's not forget about the autopilot capabilities. While it’s unlikely we'll see police officers kicking back and letting the truck do all the work, the Cybertruck’s advanced driver-assistance system could help reduce stress during long patrols.

Tesla Cybertrucks are not for everyone; some people have pointed out that they don’t look like other vehicles which can be a downer if you are trying to look inconspicuous, but it is a huge benefit in law enforcement when you are trying to be seen.

And what about this anonymous donor? The plot thickens as I try to imagine the donor who has the means and the desire to donate ten vehicles to the LVPD. I can’t help but draw up images of some superhero recluse that wants to do their part for the force.

What do you think? Will this set the pace for other police forces?
