LDS Charities Gives Aid To Afghan Refugees

(Salt Lake City, UT)  --  The humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is providing aid and supplies to Afghan refugees fleeing their country.  LDS Charities said its sending clothing, shoes, baby formula, diapers and hygiene supplies for refugees as they arrived in Qatar.   Officials for the group say they filled 90 passenger vans to send overseas.
