A man is facing charges after he allegedly stole from a Logan City Walmart store and then had a standoff with a SWAT team. The incident happened this weekend, when 53-year-old Robert Bloomer allegedly stole more than one-thousand-dollars of merchandise from Walmart. Bloomer then fled from the scene and led police on a chase until he crashed a stolen truck he was driving into another vehicle at 1700 South and State Route 165, at which time he claimed to have a gun. Following a standoff with a SWAT team, Bloomer was taken into custody without further incident. He now faces multiple charges.
