Man Sentenced To Prison For Childs Death

A 34-year-old man will spend between one and 15 years in prison for his involvement in the death of his girlfriend's baby daughter in April 2017. Brendan Dalton pled guilty to a second-degree felony of child abuse homicide last month and was given credit for over four-and-a-half years in the Iron County Jail. Both he and former girlfriend Cherokee Dea were accused of her 14-month-old daughter's death, and she is serving time in the Utah State Prison. In court in Cedar City, Dalton said he thinks about the little girl every day.
