Iron County Sheriff's Department in Utah is introducing a new program, Ignite, to reduce assaults on inmates and jail staff. Sheriff Ken Carpenter reported the success of the program in Genesse County, Michigan.

The 47th annual Shakespeare Competition is going on through Saturday hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

The only category where Utah wasn't in the top twenty was natural environment, where Utah came in at a puzzling number forty six.
