Theft Suspect Stymied By Staff At St. George Restaurant

St. George police say a 17-year-old Durango's Mexican Grill employee tackled a robbery suspect Friday night, and other employees helped hold him down until authorities arrived. The suspect was leaving when the teenager tackled him. The suspect had driven a vehicle reported stolen in Las Vegas. He had recently been released from jail in Nevada, and faces robbery and kidnapping charges there.
