Two Car Crash In Cedar City Sends One To The Hospital
Cedar City Police, Cedar City Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of Main Street and 1925 North in Cedar City. The crash occurred at approximately 10:45AM.
According to information from Sergeant Justin Ludlow, Public Information Officer for the Cedar City Police, the driver of a white SUV was heading south on Main Street. That driver ran a red light. The SUV was clipped going through the intersection, and the collision resulted in the SUV rolling. The SUV driver was taken to Cedar City Hospital, and was reported as being “OK.”
The second vehicle was heading east on 1925 North, and was a white passenger vehicle. That vehicle had extensive damage to the front end. There was no information immediately available about the condition of the driver or any passengers in the second vehicle.
Cedar City police will continue to investigate the crash. At this point, no citations have been issued. This is a developing story.
