It turns out Utahns aren’t just chasing chocolate — we’re chasing pucker, too. According to a DoorDash Halloween Ordering Trends report, SweeTARTS claimed the number one candy spot in Utah and a few other “Sour Power” states. Are We All Becoming A Little More Sour?

Now, don’t get me wrong — classics like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups still hold high prestige and dominate national rankings. But DoorDash also saw surges in sour and nostalgic favorites: Warheads spiked, Lemonheads leapt, and Sour Patch Kids cracked the top 10 for 2024 Halloween orders. Even retro “grandma candy” got resurrected, proving that what’s old is new — and sour — again.
