Utah’s Trails Rank Among North America’s Most Instagrammable
Utah is home to two of the most photogenic hiking trails in North America, according to a recent analysis by Betway. The study ranked hikes based on Instagram hashtags, TikTok views, and photos posted to AllTrails, placing Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park and the Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park among the top five most picturesque in the United States.
Angel’s Landing earned the #2 spot nationally, praised for its dramatic cliffside views and adrenaline-pumping final ascent. This 5.4-mile round-trip hike climbs nearly 1,500 feet from the canyon floor and is known for its narrow sandstone spine, with sheer drop-offs on either side. The final half-mile is equipped with chains bolted into the rock for safety. The National Park Service requires all hikers past Scout Lookout to obtain a permit year-round due to the trail's popularity and exposure. The reward at the summit is a panoramic view of Zion Canyon that has captivated hikers and photographers alike.
Bryce Canyon Trail Comes In Number 5 On The List
Bryce Canyon’s Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail came in at #5 on Betway’s list. This 3-mile moderate loop is the park’s most popular hike, beginning at Sunset Point and descending into the Bryce Amphitheater. According to the National Park Service, the route features iconic rock formations such as Thor’s Hammer, Wall Street (when open), and Queen Victoria. The trail weaves through towering hoodoos and narrow slot canyons, offering a surreal landscape that’s especially photogenic at sunrise and sunset.
