Board and Card Gaming Conventions are Flourishing in UTAH in 2024
Some of my fondest memories from my childhood is sitting around a table to play a game with the family. My mother was and still is an advocate for mind stimulating board and card games as well as puzzles. To this day there is no shortage of games to entertain. Many days of playing: Chutes & Ladders, Scrabble, Uno, Clue, and many others occupy the moments that I cherish growing up. So it came to a surprise to me that Utah plays host to one of the largest board gaming conventions in the country.

An event that started on the campus of the University of Utah is 2009 has grown to have over 1900 attendees and has had to move to larger and larger venues over the years according to the SaltCon Wikipedia page.
