
Cedar City Hospital Teams Up For The Summer Games Again
Two iconic Cedar City institutions are teaming up again to support a signature community event. The Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games and Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital have announced a renewed partnership for the 2025 program year.
As part of the agreement, Cedar City Hospital will provide medical support throughout the games and expand its outreach efforts to engage with the local community. Both organizations share a commitment to promoting health, wellness, and community pride.

“The Utah Summer Games and Cedar City Hospital are vital parts of the engine driving Cedar City and Iron County forward,” said Jon Oglesby, Executive Director of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games, in a press release. “We are grateful to Jamison Robinett, Cedar City Hospital President and CEO and Rachelle Hughes, Marketing & Communications Manager at Cedar City Hospital for their belief in the work we’re doing to make Cedar City a better place to live and to play. We’re excited to work with them in improving the quality of life in our community.”
Robinett echoed the enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are thrilled to support the Larry H. A Cedar City Tradition For 40 Years
Founded in 1986, the Utah Summer Games is Utah’s official state games, welcoming thousands of athletes each year to compete in Olympic-style events. In 2025, Southern Utah University will host the 40th consecutive edition of the Games. The organization will also host the State Games of America in Salt Lake City in 2030.
