Nonna’s Meatballs At Centro In Cedar City Are Made Fresh Daily And Gone Well Before Closing
If you haven't had this appetizer in Cedar City, you will have to get there early, as it usually sells out. I'm talking about Nonna's Meatballs at Centro Woodfire Pizzeria where they make them fresh and sell them all before closing time.
A Family Tradition of Flavor
This is a family recipe handed down from relatives who lived and died in Italy. It includes how the meatballs are prepared along with a separate recipe for the sauce that they come smothered in.
At Centro they make them fresh daily and they are one of the most popular items on the menu. If you want to try them, make sure you visit early as they will most likely be gone by closing time.
Here's What You'll Find When You Order the Meatballs
When I visited Centro for some of their pizza cooked in the woodfire oven, our server named June described the meatballs and they did not disappoint. They are about as big as your fist and they are tender and hot.
The sauce is red and I assume is a marinara but tastier and more refined then what you might be used to. It tastes fresh and full of Italian seasonings. I ended up dipping my pizza in the sauce as it was that good.
