Middle of the Country Could Avoid Winter Extremes
The Old Farmer’s Almanac has been providing information about weather since 1792. This year's addition includes a rundown of what to expect across the nation when people head out for Thanksgiving.
The places you would expect to have weather are predicted to get it. Alaska, Montana, and New York might be sketchy, but you could have guessed that without a long-term weather report.
What you might not see coming is mild temperatures in the upper Midwest, and the heartland will be unseasonably warm with plenty of sunshine. If it has been a while since you saw Uncle Chet in Nebraska, this may be the year.
Here’s What the Almanac Predicts for Utah
The Almanac says there will be a good chance of rain and snow across the mountain west, even dipping down to the southern corner of Utah. This really isn’t too big of a surprise for people who make the beehive state home.
