Full-day kindergarten is just a governor's signature away from being available throughout Utah. The Senate passed the All-Day-K bill Wednesday on a 24-to-3 vote, sending the measure to Governor Spencer Cox. The House had previously approved the bill. The bill changes the state's funding formulas to pay for full-day kindergarten in all school districts, but it requires districts to have an option for half-day kindergarten if parents request it.
