Southern Utah University Graduate Wins Top Professional Award For Public Speaking
Southern Utah University alumna Amy Brotherson has been recognized as the Top Founder and Innovator of the Year in Public Speaking for 2025 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). The organization cited her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry as reasons for the honor.
IAOTP is a prestigious international organization that handpicks leading professionals across various industries. Membership is exclusive, requiring a nomination by a distinguished honorary member, with only a select few chosen from each discipline.
"Choosing Ms. Brotherson for this honor was an easy decision for our panel to make,” said Stephanie Cerami, president of IAOTP, in a press release. “She is inspirational, influential, and a true visionary and thoughtful leader. We cannot wait to celebrate her accomplishments at this year's gala."
Brotherson, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUU in 2007, went on to complete a Master of Social Work at the University of Utah, obtaining her license in clinical social work. In 2017, she founded Hope Unlimited, a St. George-based counseling service where she provides therapy for patients of all ages and supervises two additional therapists. She also lectures on human development and family relationships at Utah Tech University and is an active public speaker in her field.
This is not Brotherson’s first industry accolade. In 2023, she received Excellence in Mental Health Care from Marquis Who’s Who. This year, she will be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and is in consideration for the Empowered Woman Award.
Brotherson attributes her success to hard work, dedication, and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of professionals.

SUU’s psychology department shares a similar vision, striving to provide a diverse and dynamic learning environment that promotes student achievement and lifelong learning. For more information, visit their website.
