Sure, It’s Not Winter Yet, But You Can Register Now For The Utah Summer Games

Registration is now open for the 2025 Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games (LHM USG), marking the 40th year of this celebrated event. Interested participants can register online at utahsummergames.org.

The 2025 program promises exciting additions, including new sports like 7-on-7 Football, Girls' High School Flag Football, and Youth Flag Football. Returning favorites introduced in recent years, such as Boys’ High School Volleyball, Cheer, Competitive Dance, and Mountain Biking, are also on the calendar.

“We are thrilled to open registration for the 2025 Program Year,” said Jon Oglesby, Executive Director of the LHM USG, in a press release. “This milestone year allows us to celebrate our proud history while embracing a bright future with innovative events supported by world-class partners.”

The games will kick off on February 22 with a co-sanctioned Figure Skating event at the Olympic Oval in Kearns. Other highlights include a Unified Basketball bracket on May 30-31, presented in partnership with Special Olympics Utah and Show Up Utah.

Key dates include the Opening Ceremony and channel 5 TV Block Party on June 6 and the State Bank of Southern Utah 5K/10K and Pancake Breakfast on June 7. The breakfast, free to the public, will follow the scenic run from Cedar Canyon to Southern Utah University.

New scheduling accommodates the event's growth, with Youth Basketball set for June 29-30 and Boys' High School Volleyball moved to June 6-7.
