The Best Modes of Transportation to get around Utah

With an ever growing world around us, shops, attractions, and the daily commutes getting farther apart and away from home, transportation is crucial to everyone. An there is plenty to see and do in the great state of Utah.

So the question is what is this best method of your travel needs?  Is it just the daily commute? Or, is it a scenic trip through the states many natural wonders? Want to tour historical sites? Or. just to visit with family up state?  Here I present to you are some of the best way to get around the beehive state and it cities.

Public Transportation

The FrontRunner commuter rail is great if you need to get to any of the three largest cities in Utah, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Provo. In Salt Lake City, you can use the TRAX light rail, UTA bus system, and streetcar to get around the city. All are popular options for those that do not like to or cannot drive themselves. 

Personal Vehicle

If you do not mind the occasional traffic and the annual seemingly constant road construction a personal or rented car or RV is actually a great way to get around cities and to the surrounding areas.  As a great majority of the historical sites and natural features are accessible by paved roads, driving a car or RV can give you the freedom to stop and see whenever and in most cased wherever you want.

Private Shuttle or Tour

Depending on your priorities, if you do not mind multiple stops to pick up additional passengers, a shuttle is often a more cost effective means of travel especially in small groups or traveling alone.  And also a very convenient way to get from say an airport to a hotel of your choosing.
