What’s The Most Expensive Zip Code In Southern Utah?
I'm in a somewhat unique situation compared to many these days. We are mortgage free. That's not said to be boastful, but we worked a little harder to get our house paid off earlier than the term of the mortgage. It's proved to be a blessing to us.
To be honest, I really wouldn't want to be in the market looking for a home these days. We all know what housing prices are today, and it doesn't look like there is going to be any relief coming. It's expensive to get a house these days. It wasn't all that long ago when finding a place to live in Utah, especially rural Utah wasn't that hard to do. Things have certainly changed.
And, in some places it's more pricey than others.
ZIP codes provide a unique lens into wealth due to their distinct geographical scopes, ranging from entire towns to small neighborhoods. This variability allows for pinpointing affluent areas often hidden in aggregated data.
A recent analysis examined Utah's most expensive ZIP codes using Zillow's home value index and the Census Bureau's 2023 American Community Survey. Focusing on data from 184 Utah ZIP codes, the study highlighted November 2024 home values and median values averaged over the preceding year.

Well, it is on the list with a median home price of $670,678, but nearby Rockville had a higher median home value of $721,844. But even that wasn't the highest in southern Utah.
That honor belongs to ZIP code 84757 where you will find the median price of a home to be $770,730 in New Harmony.
