Falcons Host Snow Canyon; Reds Host Pine View – Game Links
The Canyon View Falcons suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, in Coach Walker Tournament Play. Canyon came up short against Maple Mountain 54-49--this after victories over 4A Pine View (58-55), Desert Hills (52-43), Cedar (63-32) and The Meadows School of Nevada (64-41)--saw the Falcons 4-0 to start the season.
The Falcons continue a tough pre-region schedule Wednesday, when another Region 9 foe, Snow Canyon visits. The game can be heard on 107.7FM/590AM KSUB, starting with the pregame at 650p. Tip off is at 7p. Ryan Steineckert has the play-by-play duties.
Meanwhile, the Cedar Reds begin Region 9 play hosting the Pine View Panthers. Last Thursday, Cedar picked up its first win of the season with a 62-58 win over Riverton--in Coach Walker Tournament play. The Reds lost to Timpanogos 59-33 on Friday, but rebounded with a 51-46 victory over Manti on Saturday, to close out the tournament.
