Fresh off its cross-town rivalry win over Cedar, Canyon View looks to keep its perfect (3-0) record intact hosting Ben Lomond, Friday.  The Falcons started the season with a resounding 57-29 win at 4A Mountain View; Week 2 the Falcons came out on top 55-41 after going back and forth with the Pine View Panthers; and last week, CV held off a late bid by Cedar to claim a rivalry victory 20-17 over the Reds.

The Cedar High Reds begin Region 9 play with a tough match up with the #2 (Deseret News) team in the 4A Class, the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs.  The Mustangs only loss came at the hands of perennial powerhouse Bingham (26-23).  The Reds fell at home to the Richfield Wildcats 28-7.  The Reds rebounded in Week 2 with a road win over 3A powerhouse Juab (21-10); but fell to crosstown rival Canyon View in a defensive Week 3 battle 20-17.
