The killers are smart and sneaky hunters with an incredible kill rate somewhere near 60%! The new predator's home is the Hogle Zoo in SLC, Utah.

Her name is Gaia and she is an African black-footed cat. This species is known for being relentless in their hunting and will eat small animals and rodents as well as bugs and birds.

“We kind of joke that they’re very adorable, but they are wild animals,” Rachael Eames, a representative for the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, told Nexstar.

One of the interesting things about these creatures is how overwhelmingly cute they are. The black footed cat is tiny standing only 6-8 inches tall and only weighing 2-5 lbs. fully grown. They stalk their prey by watching and silently approaching through tall grass or from behind small objects that they can easily hide. They are patient and can watch their prey for hours before attacking. But they are so cute!

“They wait for up to 2 hours, absolutely immobile, just silently waiting,” explained Luke Hunter, an expert in endangered carnivores and a founding member of the wildcat-conservation organization Panthera, in a Nov. 2021 interview with Live Science.

Gaia is the 2nd black-footed cat at Hogle Zoo and is being fed primarily by zoo staff until she is comfortable and confident in her skills. Ryder is the male cat that lives at the Utah zoo. African black-footed cats are on the watch list for endangered species because their natural habitat is diminishing. The plan is to breed Gaia and Ryder in captivity to help conservation of the species.

6 Stupid Items You're Banned From Mailing In Utah

This is just another article of items, I can't believe had to be specified by the post office, that you cannot send in the mail.
You can't send these items in the U.S. mail:
Some items are completely forbidden.
Some are restricted.
Hazardous materials might be prohibited or restricted.

Air Bags, like for a car? I guess they can explode in route, but how do you get them?

Ammunition- The United Sates Postal Service (USPS) does not want the liability. You must use FedEx or UPS if you want to steer clear of trouble.

Explosives- Yep I can't imagine who needs to mail explosives but I am sure they are not happy knowing that it is illegal to use USPS.

Gasoline- USPS says no and that should be enough.

Marijuana-this is when your kids start asking,' but why?,' a lot.

Obeying the law: because it's the magical formula for preventing chaos, protecting your rights, avoiding pesky legal consequences like fines or jail time, and, of course, fostering trust among your fellow law-abiding citizens. It's like being part of a secret club, but instead of a cool handshake, you just have to follow some rules. So, unless you're a fan of drama, legal trouble, or societal side-eye, just do the bare minimum and follow most of the constitutional friendly rules – it's the adulting version of not sticking your hand in the cookie jar.
The list of restricted items is very long and you can look them up here: USPS NO NOS Better to be safe than sorry.

-Contact radio stations: Reach out to local radio stations like us, and inquire about any promotional opportunities they may offer. -Community events and partnerships: Radio stations often support community events and initiatives. By participating in local events or partnering with community organizations, you may increase the chances of getting mentioned or featured on the radio. You also have multiple ties with business leaders in the area that also support the events or charities you choose to support.

-Provide value to listeners: When pitching your business to radio stations, emphasize how your products or services can benefit their audience. Highlight any unique features, special offers, or community contributions your business offers. Make sure you can say what the benefit is in 15 seconds or less.
