Popular Restaurant is Thriving & Expanding in Utah & Nevada

It is always good to see positive economic news with companies expanding and growing. Especially when it comes to something everyone enjoys like good food. 

Southern Utah's Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood

A favorite restaurant all over America has plans to grow in Utah. Applebee’s has been a family favorite with their delicious entrees. My wife and enjoy the steak, chicken and alfredo and now with their Big Easy Menu starting at $11.99, the price is hard to beat. 

Speaking of their projected growth in the west, Jim Long, the Chief Executive Officer had this to say:  

“Applebee's loves Utah and Utah loves Applebee's. As the State has been growing, so have we. Since acquiring the franchise in 2018, except for the Covid year, we have grown every year,” said Long. 

Positive Signs for the Economy 

This insight into the company’s growth gives you a good idea of the thriving economy in the western states. Part of this can be attributed to a good business model.  

“Over that period our guest traffic has grown by 20% and sales by 48%,” said Long. “Guests have awarded our restaurants with an average of 4.4 Google stars.” 

Then he talked about their plans to expand in Southern Utah. This is good news for those in the Hurricane area.

“By August, we will complete the renovation of every location in Utah,” said Long, and then continued with some expansion news. “This will be just in time for the grand opening of our newest location in Hurricane, Utah. Applebee's in Utah is really the American dream.” 

With their focus on good food and great prices, Applebee’s is leading the way to better days for Southern Utah residents and the economy overall.
