The Cedar High Reds opened the Boys Basketball season with a 64-43 home loss to the Richfield Wildcats.  Richfield jumped out to an early 16-13 lead after quarter one.  A big second quarter propelled the Wildcats to a 37-23 score at the half--outscoring Cedar 21-11 in the second.

The trend continued in the third quarter.  Richfield outscored Cedar 14-5 in the third to take a commanding 51-28 lead after three.

The fourth quarter is the only quarter that Cedar outscored the Wildcats--outscoring Richfield 15-13.

Hayden Kee led the charge for Cedar with 19 points, including six three's.

Jorgen Southwick led all scorers with 22 points

The Reds travel to Mountain View on Friday (7p), and stay in Utah County for a Saturday matinee at Payson (1p).
