SUU Football Announces Updated Schedule and Home Game Times

CEDAR CITY, Utah—Southern Utah University has announced its updated football schedule for the 2024 season following Stephen F. Austin's departure from the Western Athletic Conference and the United Athletic Conference. Despite this change, the Thunderbirds have successfully maintained their original home and away dates, with only minor adjustments to their opponents, ensuring they compete against all other teams in the UAC.

Home Game Times Announced

Along with the updated schedule, Southern Utah is pleased to announce the game times for all home contests. This allows fans to plan their game-day experiences well in advance. The home games will be held at the following times:

• September 14, 2024 – 6:00 PM: UC Davis

• October 5, 2024 – 6:00 PM: Tarleton State University

• October 12, 2024 – 2:00 PM: Eastern Kentucky University *Homecoming*

• November 9, 2024 – 1:00 PM: University of North Alabama

• November 23, 2024 – 1:00 PM: Utah Tech- Battle for the Axe

The Thunderbirds are coming off an impressive inaugural season in the United Athletic Conference. The T-Birds finished the season 6-5 overall with a 4-2 record against UAC opponents, placing the team in a tie for second place in the conference standings.
