CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah men's basketball team and head coach Todd Simon have announced the signing of Parsa Fallah as the latest addition to the 2021-22 roster.

"Parsa is a fantastic player that has proven himself on the international stage with Iran. His ability to play inside and out, rebound, and make plays for his teammates are going to help our program," Simon said. "Last month he was clearly one of the best at the U19 World Cup and we could not be more excited to continue his development here."

Fallah is a 6' 9" center from Iran where he plays for the Iranian National Team. At the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup, he averaged 15.0 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Iranians. He was also named Iran's Most Valuable Player and was nominated as finalist for the tournament.

Fallah averaged 8.8 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game for Kouchin Amol during the 2021-22 season of the Iranian Superleague and averaged 18.0 ppg and 14.0 rpg during the 2021-22 season of the Iranian National League.

Through FIBA Asia U16 and U18 he averaged 17.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg, and 2.0 assists per game for Iran.

Fallah is 18 years old.
