Game Recap

The Buccaneers kept it close to start the game. At the under-16 media timeout, the score was tied at nine, but then an 18-2 run by SUU blew the game open, and the Thunderbirds never looked back.

A great pass by Hercy Miller led to a Kai Burdick dunk just before the halftime buzzer sounded, and the T-birds took a 43-25 lead into the break.

The lead continued to balloon as Coach Jeter emptied his bench with guys who put in a ton of work behind the scenes and got their time to shine. Cade Brazier, a senior walk-on, checked into the game 6:45 left and immediately splashed back-to-back deep triples, and the bench went crazy. A layup from another walk-on, Peter Dadson Jr, pushed the lead to 37 points, and the Thunderbirds once again defended home court.
