Washington County Republicans Censure Romney

Washington County Republicans are approving a resolution to censure Senator Mitt Romney over his vote to convict former President Donald Trump during both his impeachment trials. The resolution rebuked Romney for voting with Democrats, calling the second impeachment "an unconstitutional show trial." The County Party also defended the former president, who was accused of inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
