Body Cam Footage Released From Iron County Officer Involved Shooting

Police are releasing body camera footage of a shooting involving officers in southern Utah. It happened January 29th when officers were responding to reports of a woman who was suicidal. They found Shawna Owens in a white van pointing a gun in different directions. The footage shows officers trying multiple times to get Owens to let go of the weapon, but started shooting when she pointed it at the responding officers. She was hit multiple times and survived, later being charged with aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
