Cedar City's Pioneer Day Parade and festivities are being postponed to next year. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officials say they want to minimize the public health risk of COVID-19 and are looking to postpone the event to 2021 rather than cancel it. They added that people can continue to honor the legacy by carrying on traditions of hard work, sacrifice and common respect for their neighbors.
