Eagle Mountain Bans Fireworks Amid Drought; Wildfire Danger

(Eagle Mountain, UT)  --  Eagle Mountain city leaders have approved a ban on fireworks during the summer holidays.  Under a resolution passed last night, the City Council prohibited fireworks during Independence day and Pioneer Day due to the ongoing drought and extreme wildfire risks.  The resolution also prohibits any open fires unless they are in private, landscaped areas with firepits.
