(Cedar City, UT) -- A Cedar City husband and wife are facing multiple felony charges in connection with the drug-related death of a pregnant woman. John Parry and Kimberly Dawn Hare were formally charged Monday in Fifth District Court of manslaughter, drug distribution and child endangerment. According to police records, a woman who was 21 weeks pregnant died on April 20th after going into cardiac arrest. A fentanyl overdose was determined to be the cause of death and tips led the Iron County Drug Task Force to the couple. A police affidavit says the couple has "long criminal histories" and adds that drug paraphernalia was found in their home near toys belonging to their three-year-old child.

(Springdale, UT) -- Investigators are trying to determine the cause of death of a hiker who was found unresponsive at Zion National Park in Washington County. Park officials received a report a male hiker was found Monday afternoon at Scout Lookout, according to a park news release. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. A joint investigation is being conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Utah Office of the Medical Examiner, and the National Park Service.

(Cedar City, UT) -- A Cedar City man will spend less than 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to multiple counts related to distributing sexual material and images to a minor. Sean Brandon Foard was arrested last August as part of a sting operation when he was messaging and sending images to who he believed was a 15-year-old girl. Foard was sentenced to 270 days in jail with 182 days credit for time served. Deputy Iron County Attorney Shane Klenk was calling for up to a five-year sentence.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- The first Miss Utah in more than 60 years to win the Miss USA Pageant is resigning from the title. Noelia Voigt announced on Instagram that she's making the decision to step back for her mental health. Voigt won the title of Miss Utah USA 2023. The pageant winner reflected in her post about her favorite moments of being Miss USA, including working with anti-bullying and dating violence awareness foundations. The last time Miss Utah won the Miss USA pageant was in 1960 when Linda Bemen also went on to win Miss Universe.
