Governor Cox plans to honor those killed in Afghanistan yesterday by ordering flags across the state lowered to half-staff.  Flags at public buildings will remain lowered until sunset Monday.  Cox also encouraged other Utahns to join in honoring the victims.  The governor said in a statement that he and his wife were deeply saddened by the deaths, adding that we all owe an immense debt of gratitude to American troops who are trying to help others escape from Afghanistan.
