A former manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' investment arm gave a sworn declaration in the James Huntsman fraud lawsuit against the church.  David Nielsen worked as a senior portfolio manager for Ensign Peak Advisors, but recently filed a whistleblower complaint with the IRS, accusing the LDS Church of pocketing billions in tithing funds.  In his declaration, Nielsen backs claims Huntsman makes that the church used tithing dollars to fund City Creek Center, saying tithing funds were "commingled" with earnings from Ensign Peak.  A judge in Los Angeles has scheduled a hearing later this month on a motion from church lawyers to throw the lawsuit out.
