Police Seek Info On Missing Utah Woman: KSUB News Summary
Police are asking the public for information in the search for a missing woman who was last seen at Salt Lake City International Airport. Authorities say Suzanne Jackson was last seen at the airport on March 4th, and may have left the state for Arizona. She's five-feet-five inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, has blonde hair and green or grey eyes. Jackson was last seen wearing a fleece pullover, black pants, and black shoes. Anyone who has information on her whereabouts should call the Unified Police.
Man Accused Of “Shooting” Pranksters
An Eagle Mountain man is facing charges for allegedly shooting at teens for "ding-dong-ditching" his house. Police say Michael Roberts had been a victim of the same prank several times, and fired a gun at a car full of teenagers. The gun was reportedly not a typical firearm and fired plastic balls, but police say it was powerful enough to leave dents in the car. Roberts faces six aggravated assault charges and a criminal mischief charge.
Convicted Killer Returns To Jail On Weapons Charges
A convicted killer is heading to Federal Prison after being found to have illegal firearms. Joseph Charles Gardner spent nearly 30 years of his life in prison after breaking into Janice Fondren's apartment and killing her in 1990. After making parole in October 2020, Gardner returned to St. George. In 2022 he was found to be concealing and disposing of stolen firearms. The 65-year-old will now spend nearly nine more years in jail.
Streaking Person In Washington County Leads To Two Arrests
Reports of a woman streaking in Washington City resulted in two arrests. The streaker who appeared to be under the influence and "hallucinating, running in front of moving vehicles and fighting with police," was sent to the hospital. The second arrest came after police located where she had come from and received a search warrant. They reportedly found more than 50 MDMA pills, Ketamine and over an ounce of GHB. The two homeowners were then arrested and now each face seven total charges including three second-degree felonies.
