Two Teen Age Girls Hospitalized Following Hit And Run

Two teenage girls are in the hospital after a hit-and-run on Saturday night. Police say the two were crossing eleven-hundred-50 West State Street in Hurricane around 10 p.m. that night when a silver or gold passenger car ran a red light and struck the teens. Both girls were severely injured and transported to the hospital. Police are asking for help in identifying the driver. The vehicle was described as a silver or gold Toyota with South Dakota plates and anyone with information on the hit-and-run is urged to call 435-627-4999.
