A University of Utah football player has been formally charged with the rape and aggravated kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl. Terrell Maurice Perriman was formally charged Friday in Third District court. Police say Perriman sent an Uber to pick up the teen late last month after they had talked on Instagram and through texts. Perriman allegedly forced the teen to have sex with him at his apartment before allowing her to leave. Prosecutors have asked for a 500-thousand-dollar bond for Perriman, calling him a flight risk.
