Utah Political Leaders React To Afghanistan Attack

Utah's elected officials are reacting to reports that more than a dozen members of the American military were killed yesterday in attacks in Afghanistan.  Senator Mitt Romney called the attacks horrific in a tweet, saying later in the day that the U.S. has to have the patience to make sure those responsible pay dearly for the lives lost.  Republican Congressman Blake Moore called the planning of the U.S. pullout a major mistake, while Republican Senator Mike Lee said the deaths were a tragedy made possible by a botched withdrawal.  Republican Congressman Christ Stewart called the Biden Administration incompetent while sending prayers to those killed or injured in the attacks.
