Most Of Utah Is Feeling The Heat

Residents may expect extreme heat to stay across the Wasatch Front for a few more days. The potential for flash flooding also remains in southern Utah today. The National Weather Service has issued excessive heat warnings and advisories throughout the Wasatch Front, northern Utah, the West Desert and parts of central Utah to be in effect through tomorrow night. Forecasters say these hot temperatures are the result of a high-pressure ridge that is set up over New Mexico. Temperatures could reach the upper 90s and lower 100s. Residents need to stay hydrated and avoid the sun as much as possible.
